Eric Sereno is the Chief of Police for the Goffstown Police Department in New Hampshire, a position he has held since 2020. With more than two decades of progressive law enforcement experience, he commands a full-service department of 35 sworn officers and 20 civilian staff, overseeing a $6 million annual budget and 18-vehicle fleet.

His tenure as Chief has been defined by transformational leadership — from negotiating complex multi-year union contracts to directing the department's full transition to a $2 million emergency radio communications platform. He has modernized the department's firearms systems, computer infrastructure, and technology ecosystem while maintaining fiscal discipline.

Prior to becoming Chief, Eric served at every rank within GPD — from Patrolman through Captain — building deep expertise in patrol operations, criminal investigations, tactical response, and organizational management. He is a CALEA-accredited agency leader and has championed nationally recognized policy frameworks including DDACTS and Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management.

Eric is a United States Air Force veteran, having served at Barksdale AFB as a Staff Sergeant in Security Forces. He holds an active Top Secret security clearance and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Granite State College (Summa Cum Laude). He is a graduate of the FBI LEEDA Supervisor, Command, and Executive Leadership Institutes — earning the prestigious Triple Crown designation.

In 2025, Eric founded Veracity Solutions Group, LLC — a veteran-owned strategic safety consulting firm built on one conviction: organizations can't manage risks they don't fully understand. VSG delivers threat assessments, emergency preparedness planning, crisis communications, and risk mitigation for schools, municipalities, and corporations. Every engagement is grounded in decades of operational law enforcement experience, not theoretical frameworks. Under VSG, Eric also created ClearCommand — a comprehensive Law Enforcement Crisis Communication Plan system featuring a proprietary 5-Tier Notification Cascade, pre-scripted media templates, social media response protocols, and elected official notification procedures, giving agencies a fully deployable communication framework before a crisis strikes.

Beyond the badge, Eric is committed to community. He serves as the Hillsborough County representative to the NH Chiefs of Police Association and as law enforcement's voice on the NH Legislative Oversight Committee for Juvenile Justice. He coaches youth baseball and remains deeply rooted in the Goffstown community he protects.
